Job Description:

Electrical Commissioning Engineer - Berlin - 3-6 Month Contract

We have a great opportunity to work with our client, a global digital partner for sustainability and efficiency. They drive digital transformation by integrating world-leading process and energy technologies to full efficiency and sustainability opportunities. They are looking for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer for their Berlin-based location.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Startup & Commissioning on all equipment across the entire secure power (UPS) product range
• Evaluate unit’s installation (e.g., the quality of connections, assembly, readiness for start-up)
• Evaluate system's installation & operational conditions
• Perform onsite adjustments to optimize unit performance
• Support customers in the installation, modification, and repair of UPS products
• Identify causes of failures related to quality, software, or operational conditions (Root cause Analysis)
• Collaborate with other service engineers during site interventions
• Provide training to customers or end users on equipment operation
• Interact with customers onsite or remotely to determine support needs
• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance for UPS products & systems

Requirements:

• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in commissioning or field service repair with secure power
• Confirmed experience with Secure Power installations (UPS, Battery cabinets, Transfer Switches)
• Experience with installation and commissioning in Data Centers is a significant advantage
• Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic circuitry at the component level
