Job Responsibilities
- Develop continually existing CADM processes suitable to the business needs of Spaceopal in liaison with ILS, CADM Manager, and Quality Manager.
- Implement the configuration management policy and standards in the company and for the GSOp Project.
- Ensure changes to the configuration are properly approved and communicated; maintain the integrity of the CADM database in CMAT and other tools.
- Support enhancement of CMAT to comply with user needs.
- Implement customer configuration change note instructions and liaise with customers, project management, and quality teams.
- Participate in Configuration Control Boards, document and trace the status of Change Requests and Board decisions, and possibly chair or act as secretary for CCBs.
- Follow-up and resolve problems related to the processing of CCRs (input/output).
- Perform quality checks, monitor the correct usage and status tracking of CCRs in centralized tools, and trigger corrections or updates as needed.
- Support the preparation and review of CADM-related reports and the development and maintenance of the Product and Configuration Item Tree and associated attributes/data.
- Support the review and handover of configuration items/assets to the project from external parties and execute configuration audits.
- Ensure consistency of asset records and status within centralized tools/databases and liaise with relevant Points of Contact at subcontractor level.
Candidate Profile

- Hold a university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Commercial Engineering, Economics, or Telecommunications) or possess relevant work experience.
- Have experience in similar activities, preferably in Space, Defence programs, or highly security-sensitive commercial sectors (e.g., finance).
- Be target-oriented with good organizational skills (time management, efficiency, handling parallel issues, etc.).
- Be experienced in Configuration Management disciplines and data/information handling (Structures, Baseline Management, etc.).
- Have experience related to standardization and quality reviews/audits.
- Possess good software skills related to general software design, setup, and configuration concepts.
- Be familiar with Configuration Management standards and best practices (e.g., ITIL, ECSS).
- Be fluent in written and spoken English, and in Italian and/or German.
- Be proficient in standard office automation tools (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.).
