Summary

For the "Assembly Unstabilized GBS" division, we are looking for a "Mechatronics Engineer / Industrial Mechanic" at the Oberkochen site at the earliest possible date.

The division produces and maintains sensors and systems for long-range surveillance for civilian and military customers, used to protect troops abroad and property.

Your Tasks

1. Checking orders for completeness and correctness, clarifying discrepancies if necessary
2. Independent assembly of complex sub-assemblies and main assemblies in accordance with production documents
3. Final assembly and adjustment of the entire device
4. Cleaning optical surfaces and devices
5. Wiring, soldering, and bonding work
6. Performing intermediate tests according to specifications
7. Checking interaction of components and assemblies and readjustments
8. Acceptance of finished devices
9. Documenting the entire production and acceptance process for quality assurance

Your Profile

1. Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, or similar
2. Experience in assembling optical and/or mechanical devices
3. Experience working with SAP
4. Knowledge of working with precision mechanical, electronic, and optical parts
5. Soldering, crimping, and gluing skills
6. Strong technical understanding
7. Independent working style, flexibility, and teamwork skills
8. High performance and quality awareness
9. Good knowledge of German
