Role: Serves as a teacher instructing significant aspects of the host nation culture, particularly in history, government, economics, anthropology, sociology, and geography at the elementary school level.

Qualifications: Completion of at least first state examination for teaching at elementary, junior, or senior high school level (German Cultural/Regional Studies, Social Science, History, German preferred).

Skills: Office Automation skills are required.

Language Proficiency: English and German Language Proficiency Level C2 required. You can test yourself for free at various online providers offering tests under the 'Common European Framework of Reference for Languages' (CEFR). More info: Language Levels Description

Additional Information:

• Permanent part-time position (20 hrs/week).
• Work on German holidays required.
• Main annual leave must be taken during school summer break.
