Paymenttools’ Transaction Processing area is a core team responsible for our payment engine. We are looking for an experienced and driven Technical Product Owner for our Tokenization and Inbound Gateway product teams. In this position you will drive critical product initiatives working closely with our external partners and of course our internal teams across disciplines (security, compliance, architecture, etc.). You will have a direct impact on our payment transaction success for our customers!

Your Tasks

• Own the products! You will work across the organization ensuring our Tokenization product and our Transaction Acceptance Gateways are running seamlessly
• Building collaboratively with engineering teams ensuring our products are delivered and satisfy our merchants
• Leading requirement workshops with customers and third-party vendors
• Negotiating with and onboarding third-party vendors, including acquirers and schemes (e.g., Visa and Mastercard)
• Producing business cases and conducting break-even analysis
• Engage external stakeholders like our partners, regulators, or merchants to drive successful development
  
  

Your Experience

• Development and expertise in building highly scalable, backend-intensive products
• Development of software products in a regulated environment (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, German Banking Industry Committee)
• Technical aptitude collaborating with engineers, experience building API based product and system architectures, and delivering technically sophisticated products
• A big plus to have previous experience with encryption, decryption, and/or cryptography
• Previous experience defending product design and business use cases during audits due to a highly regulated product
• Managing multiple internal and external stakeholders with excellent communication skills
• English proficiency needed, German is just a plus!
