TheInstitute of Management Accounting and Control (IMC) of WHU is a leading think tank in the area of management accounting and control. Under the joint directorship of Professor Lukas Löhlein, Professor Marko Reimer, and Professor Utz Schäffer, the institute bundles the numerous teaching and research activities of the associated professors and doctoral students.
This position is initially a one-year fixed-term contract with the potential to become extended or permanent.
Your mission
You are a member of the editorial office working on the well-established “Controlling & Management Review”, a journal that bridges the gap between science and corporate practice
You communicate with authors and the publishing house
You conceptualise and realise issues of the journal
You edit articles and write your own textual elements
You are in charge of correcting the proofs
You drive the journal further based on your own ideas
Your profile
Academic degree (ideally business studies)
Excellent feel for language and very good communication skills in German and English
Independent and well-structured way of working and very good knowledge of MS Office
Excellent social and organisational skills as well as team spirit
