About the role

As the Commercial Marketing Director for Business Group Wide Bandgap, IGBT & Modules, you will be responsible for driving and owning customer pricing, negotiations, and capacity allocation—sales.

What you will do

  1. Lead the development and performance of a global team of commercial marketing managers.

  2. Prepare allocation and pricing scenarios.

  3. Establish pricing and allocation strategies in collaboration with Product Group managers.

  4. Implement defined pricing and allocation strategies.

  5. Manage allocation efforts and serve as an escalation point for internal and external allocation decisions.

  6. Coordinate internal operational processes, such as distributor price book management.

  7. Own margins and revenue for BG WIM, executing against the Rolling Financial Forecast (RFF).

  8. Collaborate with peers across the company, including sales, marketing, and corporate pricing teams.

  9. Stakeholders include Product Group managers, Global Sales, Regional BG champions, Supply Chain, Finance, General Management, and the corporate pricing committee.

  10. Key metrics: margin, revenue, and customer satisfaction.

What you will need

  1. Master's degree in business administration or related field.

  2. Minimum 8+ years of experience in commercial marketing or pricing roles.

  3. Experience in semiconductors or electronic components is preferred but not essential if the candidate can learn quickly.

  4. Agile, fast-thinking, thorough, with high attention to detail.

  5. Commercially and financially savvy.

  6. Ability to understand cost drivers and challenge Product Management, R&D, Finance, and Operations as needed.

  7. Strong communication skills to present proposals and decisions clearly to stakeholders, sales, and customers.
