A well-known Japanese banking institution is looking for a Business Administrator to work in the Business Administration Team of the Amsterdam office.

This position will be responsible for supporting the operation of CIF creation, retail account opening, account maintenance, and account closing. The role requires a basic understanding of customer due diligence and corporate banking in general, working alongside relationship managers.

Position Details:
  • Type: Full-time, initially 1-year contract (with potential for extension)
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week
  • Salary: TBC
  • Start: ASAP
  • Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Hybrid working available)
Main Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate client onboarding processes
  • Perform regulatory reviews of existing client files in line with MBE periodic review policy
  • Maintain up-to-date client information in systems
  • Support business operations flexibly
  • Handle daily tasks such as mitigants report, Bloomberg news distribution, and circulation of LE205 report
  • Communicate effectively with other departments
  • Develop procedures and working instructions, and provide training to relevant staff
Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Legal, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Basic understanding of customer due diligence and corporate banking
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to make timely decisions and liaise with other departments
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with payment and e-banking systems
  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Japanese language skills
