Are you passionate about inspiring parents to provide screen-free (and guilt-free) edutainment to children? If so, read on! We are looking for a Senior Digital Product Designer (all genders) to shape the connected experience in the for &. Specifically, you will help families set up the Toniebox, configure it for optimal use, manage their collection, and customize listening experiences by creating playlists and content. You will be responsible for designing user experiences that enable parents to configure Tonieboxes, develop strategies to enhance engagement through play, and drive our key metrics. This role requires a deep understanding of user behavior, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of successful engagement initiatives.

In this role, you will be ultimately responsible for the overall usability and design of a customer-facing product. You will need to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. You will collaborate directly with the central team and advocate for stakeholder and user needs from regional teams.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  1. Design Strategy: Define UX strategy aligned with product and business goals, including Information Architecture, hierarchy, and messaging, in collaboration with User Research and Data Analysis teams.
  2. Interaction Design: Develop high-complexity concepts and manage product projects with a mobile-first approach, emphasizing Accessibility, Inclusion, and Design Excellence.
  3. Visual Design: Use the design system to create designs for validation and development, and contribute to the evolution of the design system.
  4. Customer Insights: Incorporate customer feedback and data analysis to inform design decisions, ensuring usability and security.
  5. Influencing Outcomes: Define key results, shape experiments, interpret results, and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align on design decisions.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Product or UX Designer, with a focus on high-traffic digital products (~1 million MAU), and a passion for building connected products.
  • Proven experience in delivering impactful, user-centered solutions, conducting qualitative user research independently, and collaborating with research teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and strategic thinking to translate product goals into actionable designs.
  • Expertise in interaction design for mobile platforms, with a commitment to Universal Design principles, Accessibility, and Inclusion.
  • Proficiency in visual design and contribution to design systems.
  • Nice to have: Experience with IoT/Consumer electronics or digital products for children.
