Job Description

Responsible for joint and local works Council activities and negotiation on company agreements. Translates global strategies to market-specific action throughout the entire Store associate lifecycle that tie into delivering Stores KPI targets each year. Advises and executes on labor relations strategy while constantly managing relations with employee representatives and government agencies. Strategizes with business partners on the talent & development strategy in their stores.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Provides expertise in works council and economic affairs matters
  • Drives works council, joint works council and economic affairs meetings
  • Drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of works council matters and agreements
  • Provides legal advice to District Manager
  • Manage policy application, compliance, and change management support across the Stores teams.
  • Assists with policy development and specific country policy updating and communication
  • Build effective, trustworthy partnership with stores teams and DM level to be counted on as the trusted advisor
  • Deliver compliance training to all store level managers.
  • Support onboarding of new DMs with specific HR sessions.
  • Engage and influence district and regional level talent review
  • 40 hours (Remote)

Qualifications

What Do You Need To Bring?

  • Fluent in German and English
  • MA/BA Degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and provide analysis and risk assessment
  • Ability to support and thrive in a changing environment
  • Ability to influence others without supervisory control
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong labor relations knowledge (at least 5 years)
