We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the automation of AMZL delivery stations across North America and Europe. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to identify and select strategic suppliers, lead complex negotiations, and ensure seamless project execution from technology proof of concept development to scale-up strategy and implementation.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Supplier Selection and Qualification :
   • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
   • Lead the negotiation process to secure favorable terms and conditions for our organization.
   • Conduct rigorous supplier qualification processes to assess their ability to meet our quality, delivery, and performance standards.
2. Project Execution :
   • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and efficient execution.
   • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay on track.
3. Supply Chain Optimization :
   • Continuously analyze supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
   • Develop and implement strategies to scale up technologies across regions with qualified suppliers.
   • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and address issues promptly.
   • Identify and assess potential supply chain risks, such as disruptions, quality issues, or geopolitical factors.
   • Develop and implement contingency plans to minimize the impact of these risks.

The role is also open for locations in Luxembourg, Paris, and London.

About the Team

The Amazon Logistics Supply Chain team manages the setup and readiness of supply chains for new programs and products across multiple engineering categories (equipment, fixtures, consumables, etc.). We work closely with stakeholders in Worldwide Engineering, WHS, Design, Operations, and Procurement to bring ambitious last and middle mile logistics goals to life. We oversee vendor program management during design, deployment, and change management stages, partnering internally and externally to meet milestones regarding cost, quality, and sustainability.
