We are seeking a strategic, resilient, engaging leader with a passion for solving complex problems to join EPAM as a Director, Insurance Advisory (m/f/d) in Munich. In this role, you will engage with insurance clients to drive enterprise transformation programs, aligning organizational strategies, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure success. You will also play a key role in expanding our Insurance Strategy & Transformation advisory team and collaborating across EPAM's broader offerings.

Responsibilities

1. Lead strategic client engagements, leveraging our GTM offerings to deliver impactful solutions.
2. Drive business development and generate demand through building deep client relationships.
3. Manage engagement planning, budgeting, and team mobilization; ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
4. Advance transformation methodologies, tools, and approaches within EPAM.
5. Define EPAM's market value propositions and interface with senior leadership to craft offerings.
6. Support sales activities, including opportunity assessment, solution design, and proposal development.
7. Innovate service offerings through development of methods, tools, assets, and accelerators.
8. Create impactful opportunities by leveraging team strengths and anticipating client needs.

Requirements

1. Over 15 years of experience in consulting or industry, with recent leadership in digital transformation, communication strategies, and cross-disciplinary problem solving.
2. Deep insurance industry knowledge (Claims, Underwriting, Distribution, Sales & Service, or Finance Transformation) in the German-speaking market.
3. Experience in consulting with core advisory skills.
4. Ability to develop thought leadership and articulate key trends and points of view.
5. At least five years of recent actuarial experience (reserving or pricing preferred).
6. Certification as an FSA or FCA (Associate or Fellow).
7. Experience with financial reporting, modeling, and analytics solutions.
8. Proven ability to operate independently at client locations and communicate complex issues effectively.
9. Strong risk management, strategic alignment, and team leadership skills.
10. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
