You will take on an exciting role in our 3rd Level Server Management Team within our international Cloud Infrastructure. Innovative technologies and projects as well as agile working methods are integral to your tasks. We offer structured onboarding through our Mentorship Program, knowledge transfer within the team, and regular professional and soft skills training.
Your responsibilities include:
- Providing Level 3 support for large-scale cloud and virtualized environments, especially for OpenStack (Compute and Storage), NetApp storage solutions, VMware ESXi, and KVM hypervisors.
- Supporting Kubernetes microservices, ensuring proper orchestration, scalability, and maintenance of containerized applications.
- Managing and maintaining NetApp storage systems to ensure data integrity, availability, and optimized performance.
- Handling critical applications via SAP PlusOne and ensuring smooth integration and performance in cloud environments.
- Using Prometheus for system performance monitoring, proactive troubleshooting, and infrastructure health checks.
- Resolving escalated incidents, service requests, and operational issues in accordance with SLAs.
- Managing change requests and deployments following best practices in change management, minimizing downtime and service disruptions.
- Performing capacity planning, system upgrades, and optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency of cloud and virtualized environments.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate incident resolution and infrastructure changes, ensuring effective communication throughout the support process.

- You have professional experience in system administration or IT support, ideally in 3rd Level Support.
- You possess good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
- An IT-related qualification (e.g., Fachinformatiker*in for System Integration) is desirable.
- Experience in virtualization (e.g., VMware) and/or scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl) is a plus.
- You have experience with OpenStack Compute (Nova), Storage (Cinder/Swift) and supporting cloud infrastructure operations.
- In-depth knowledge of NetApp storage systems, VMware ESXi, and KVM hypervisors for virtualization management.
- Experience with Kubernetes microservices for orchestration and management of containerized applications, along with automation tools and scripts (Python, Bash).
- Willingness to work in shifts (day and evening shifts, no night shifts) and occasional weekend maintenance.
- Excellent German and English language skills.
