Job Description

We've got an exciting opportunity for a Social Content Manager to join our Emmy Award-winning team, working alongside one of our partners - a leading global streaming service.

You'll create social media content on this key account with the help of a team of integrated producers, content managers, editors, and designers. Reporting to the Social Content Director.

You will be part remote and part based in our Berlin office in Germany with some occasional evening and weekend work when required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Help develop the social media presence for our client, helping grow reach and engagement for their social channels with excellent creative and strategy.
• Support the creation and management of content calendars for both paid and organic assets, and create copy with oversight from the team. Collaborate with social designers on asset creation, and work with clients for reviews and approvals. Build and manage communities around a well-loved global brand.
• Support creative brainstorming, community management, social copywriting, scriptwriting, and reporting, all overseen and signed off by the project lead.
• Provide social coverage for live events, marketing, and junket shoots, briefing and managing high-profile entertainment talent.
• Work with the Creative Director to ensure content and ideas follow the creative strategy and are fit for purpose.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends and updates to translate this knowledge to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, following internal processes like timing plans and content calendars. Note: financial accountability is not included.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience working on social media.
• Fluent in English and German, with German copywriting skills for social media and the ability to understand and adopt our client's tone of voice.
• Understanding of platform business managers and social media tools such as Meta Business Manager and Sprinklr.
• Experience creating social media content: static assets, short and long-form videos (Reels, TikTok, scripted videos), GIFs, memes.
• Experience working with talent on photo and video production shoots within marketing or junket environments.
• Experience running paid media campaigns, working with media agencies, and understanding media goals and best practices.
• Experience covering live events.
• Experience in the entertainment industry.
