AI will help scale and enhance our human-centered teaching approach. We are seeking a talented AI Software Engineer (all genders) to join as a founding member of our AI team. You will support our ambition to create a continuous learning experience and the best learning environment in the world.

Your mission: As an AI Software Engineer at Lingoda, you will work with Prompt Engineers to develop AI proof of concepts and scalable solutions, such as integrating LLMs and AI services, building APIs, and creating front-end interactions. You will develop AI solutions to support our teachers and students, prototype full-stack AI solutions for our platform, and stay updated with the latest AI developments.

Your tasks:

1. Design AI proof of concepts and prototypes with AI prompt engineers and product designers.
2. Develop rapid full-stack POCs/Prototypes (backend and frontend).
3. Create scalable and maintainable versions of successful POCs.
4. Develop APIs for integration with our main platform.
5. Integrate external LLMs, Vector Databases, and AI services from AWS, GCP, OpenAI, etc.
6. Collaborate with DevOps on deployment, CI, and security.

Your qualifications:

• Experience developing AI solutions with LLM-based products and approaches.
• Proficiency with LLM APIs and application integration.
• Understanding of NLP concepts, with experience in libraries like spaCy, NLTK, or transformers.
• Strong skills in backend (Node or PHP/Symfony/Doctrine/MySQL) and frontend (React) technologies.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and modern architecture.
• Experience with TDD and BDD.
• At least 4 years of web software development experience.
• Commitment to code quality with testing and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and analytical mindset.
• Fluent English (C-level).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
