We have an exciting opportunity as:
Manager Parts & Accessories (all genders welcome) at the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

Job mission:
As Manager Parts & Accessories, you will improve Parts & Accessories turnover and optimize gross profit by identifying portfolio opportunities and coordinating markets' annual business plans.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate annual business plans with subsidiaries to enhance Kia Europe's Parts & Accessories (P&A) business.
  • Participate actively in Kia EU's annual BP process and align with relevant internal stakeholders such as Finance and Business Strategy Group.
  • Propose top-down annual business plan (BP) for all 14 subsidiaries and consolidate at the European level on turnover & gross profit in alignment with Kia EU management.
  • Negotiate with subsidiaries the planned BP and build data & insights-driven argumentation demonstrating how to achieve top-down proposed turnover & gross profit levels.
  • Liaise and collaborate with other teams like Service Marketing to align non-financial targets for subsidiaries.
  • Follow up on target implementation throughout the year and ensure compliance.
  • Propose custom actions to address gaps in the BP.
  • Organize quarterly meetings with underperforming NSCs and follow up on actions.

Alongside the Assistant Managers, explore market development opportunities, enhance Kia's P&A & Kia Collection portfolio, and support markets with tools and programs to increase turnover and profit:

  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence to build sales reports & dashboards.
  • Identify underperforming sales segments and develop recovery actions.
  • Expand sales channels, including wholesale business.
  • Explore and structure the body parts business.
  • Identify local product needs as alternatives to Korean sourced parts via MPE and guide local development.
  • Develop Tire Business per Kia EU guidelines with external support.
  • Monitor and ensure availability of accessories for new vehicle models.
  • Support MPE in developing new accessories products.
  • Enhance Kia Collection sales volumes in collaboration with MPE and the European Kia Design Centre.

Challenge and monitor MPE operations beyond sales, such as inventory and logistics, collaborating with MPE teams to meet objectives and ensure service levels:

  • Use tools like backorder reports developed with Business Intelligence.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or similar.
  • Minimum of 5 years in automotive after-sales parts management at distributor or headquarter level; dealer experience is beneficial.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and logical skills.
  • Ability to translate insights into business recommendations.
  • Commercial mindset focused on KPIs.
  • Project and supplier management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally Tableau.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
