Company Overview: UFP Site Built is a leader in designing and manufacturing value-added wood and non-wood products for the construction industry. We offer a wide variety of wood structural components, aluminum decks and rails, and light gauge steel structural components.

Location

Candidates must be located in the United States.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Design metal plate-connected wood trusses utilizing Mitek software.
2. Review orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy.
3. Assist sales and production with design services and troubleshooting.
4. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Truss Design.
• Working knowledge and experience using Mitek software is required.
• Knowledge of floor and roof systems and the ability to specify beams and hangers.
