Job Description:

The opportunity

Grammarly is the world’s leading AI writing assistance company trusted by over 30 million people and 70,000 professional teams every day. From instantly creating a first draft to perfecting every message, Grammarly’s product offerings help people at 96% of the Fortune 500 get their point across—and get results. Grammarly has been profitable for over a decade because we’ve stayed true to our values and built an enterprise-grade product that’s secure, reliable, and helps people do their best work—without selling their data. We’re proud to be one of Inc.’s best workplaces, a Glassdoor Best Place to Work, one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies, and one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies in AI.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re seeking a Group Product Manager to join our Platform and Cloud Engineering team. This role will work in the Platform org to own the roadmap and strategy for Grammarly's AWS cloud infrastructure, language tooling platform, customer cloud-hosted Grammarly, API gateway, and ML/AI training infrastructure used across the company.

Your impact

As a Group Product Manager in Platform, you will drive the vision and strategy for Grammarly’s Cloud infrastructure compute capabilities and overall developer experience. This role is central to every feature and experience in Grammarly, ensuring developers across the company have the necessary compute, availability, APIs, and tools necessary to quickly prototype, build, validate, and deploy novel AI and ML technologies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding computing and development processing needs across all engineering disciplines and teams.
  • Collaborating with external partners to evaluate technologies, balancing performance, quality, and cost.
  • Presenting insights and strategic initiatives to engineering, product, and leadership teams.
  • Using data to influence roadmaps, identify inefficiencies, and improve cloud infrastructure.
  • Driving initiatives to enhance Grammarly’s cloud deployment, data, and service isolation.
  • Building new AI/ML/LLM language tools to streamline development and deployment of technologies, optimizing performance, quality, and cost.

We’re looking for someone who

  • Embodies our EAGER values—ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable.
  • Follows our MOVE principles—move fast, learn faster, create customer value, impact over activity, and embrace trust-based healthy disagreement.
  • Can collaborate in person in Berlin and other hubs 4 weeks per quarter.
  • Can lead initiatives in ambiguous product areas.
  • Has experience supporting mid-size engineering teams, preferably in cloud platform, SRE, or DevOps roles.
  • Has a deep understanding of client monitoring and quality improvement at scale.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making.
  • Can communicate effectively with product and engineering teams from a user and data perspective.

Support for you, professionally and personally

  • We promote autonomy, trust, and professional growth through training, coaching, and feedback.
  • We foster a connected, collaborative culture with a hybrid work model and inclusive resource groups.
  • We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, wellness stipends, learning opportunities, and support for home office setup.
