Centric Software is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our growing planning team in Germany.

This is a remote role, based within Germany.

The successful candidate should possess strong solution and technical skills to thrive in a fast-moving environment.

You will need to be a leader, quick thinker, and driven to provide planning solutions that deliver value to our clients.

You will work directly with clients, internal, and external partners to lead the technical design and configuration of planning architecture, ensuring best practices.

About the Team

The Centric planning team leads the market in delivering first-class planning solutions for the fashion and retail industries.

It is a dynamic, driven team of technical and business experts delivering end-to-end planning systems and ensuring customer project success.

The team members are all home-based in different countries worldwide.

The role reports to the Client Services Director.

Responsibilities

1. Define and optimize design solutions aligned with client requirements, leveraging the Centric Planning platform.
2. Collaborate closely with solution delivery teams and clients.
3. Gather, understand, challenge, and communicate business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
4. Define configuration and data requirements to meet business processes.
5. Assist in preparing system tests and validation plans.

Skills

• Scientific or technical degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of database queries (MS SQL Server).
• Knowledge of planning applications at strategic and operational levels.
• Experience in consultancy within IT, Merchandising, or Supply Chain planning.
• Experience with planning management systems and tools implementation.
• Previous business and implementation experience.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced knowledge of database queries (MS SQL Server).
• Knowledge of data science.
• Power BI skills (dataset modeling and dashboard design).
