Responsibilities:

1. Build, maintain, and expand long-term relationships with the Bundeswehr, focusing on BMVg, PlgABw, and the German Navy.
2. Acquire contracts and projects, focusing on the German Navy; proactively identify customer needs in the naval forces sector and manage the necessary business development activities.
3. Participate actively in networks of relevant associations and institutions (e.g., BDI, BDLi, BDSV, Bundeswehr, NATO).
4. Advise the sales management on strategic and operational issues.
5. Monitor project performance, meet milestones, and initiate corrective actions for ongoing large-scale projects with customer relevance.
6. Develop a comprehensive network within Rheinmetall's various business and functional areas, offering excellent national and international career prospects.

Qualifications:

• Military background as a Marine officer (m/w/d) with operational experience in the Navy.
• Successfully completed studies, ideally with a focus on economics or engineering sciences.
• Confident in engaging with military and civilian leadership contacts.
• Extensive knowledge of the structures and working methods of Bundeswehr procurement is advantageous.
• Excellent German language skills and business-fluent English skills.
• High willingness to travel within Germany.
• Must pass security clearance by the BMWi.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, organizational, and implementation skills with a high customer orientation.
