Job Description:

The Business Development Director will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring new bookings targets are met for the assigned territories and services.
  • Developing productive relationships at all levels of complex, biopharmaceutical, and CRO organizations.
  • Generating new opportunities and securing new contracts for Eurofins Central Labs, including clinical biomarkers and anti-infective services.
  • Acting as an advocate for prospects and active accounts within Eurofins.
  • Collaborating closely with the Scientific Affairs, Proposals/Contracts team, and Operational Teams.

This is a remote position that can be based in any European country.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical or central laboratory, clinical trials (CRO, trial supplies/logistics, e-Clinical), or relevant B2B project service industry.
  • Proven success in acquiring new service contracts.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to set goals, plan, and influence others to achieve results.
  • Motivated, with a hunter mentality and a drive to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written.
  • Willing to travel; valid driving license required.
