Qualifikationen

Job Description:

As a Named Account Manager Public, you will play an integral role in new business pitches, hold responsibility for the effective onboarding of new clients, and focus on growing and developing existing customers such as State Ministries, State IT Service Providers, and Municipal Institutions. This role allows you to leverage your extensive network to generate and develop opportunities, write business and account plans for current and upcoming tenders, and serve as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions.

From our offices in Germany and/or remote work, our mission is to drive new business opportunities through direct sales engagements into designated accounts and strategic partners.

At Fortinet you will

  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of Fortinet’s technology to effectively communicate our value proposition to decision-makers.
  • Develop strong relationships with customer contacts up to C-level executives to understand their business needs and IT drivers, enabling strategic selling of Fortinet solutions.
  • Sell Fortinet products and services via a consultative approach and maintain relationships with key individuals within the accounts.
  • Research customers, identify decision-makers, educate prospects, and qualify buying interest and urgency.
  • Create and implement strategic account plans focused on enterprise-wide deployment of Fortinet solutions.
  • Develop strategies and coordinate resources to maximize sales within assigned accounts.
  • Engage and collaborate with System Engineers, Channel Managers, and the sales team and executives as needed.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with customers to ensure they realize value from their Fortinet investments.
  • Keep customers informed about Fortinet's product roadmaps to aid their planning and risk mitigation.

Apply if you

  • Have a proven sales record in the IT industry (preferably Cybersecurity and Networking), with experience in developing strategic relationships with State Ministries, State IT Service Providers, and Municipal Institutions.
  • Have a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quotas, demonstrating career stability and growth.
  • Are a highly motivated self-starter with a competitive nature, strong attention to detail, and a desire to succeed.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, along with strong listening skills.
