Associate Director, Field Medical Advisor

We are seeking a dynamic Field Medical Advisor with proven expertise in vaccines to join a pioneering biotech company expanding its presence in Germany.

You will leverage your scientific expertise and exceptional communication skills to build impactful relationships with healthcare practitioners, policy makers, and patient advocacy groups. You will facilitate peer-to-peer scientific discussions, share the latest data and research, and provide insights to support the development and delivery of groundbreaking therapies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement scientific engagement plans to communicate scientific narratives effectively across therapeutic areas.
  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders to gather insights, share clinical data, and identify opportunities to address unmet medical needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to medical engagement.
  • Utilize digital tools and platforms to facilitate virtual engagements and scientific discussions.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the latest scientific advancements in mRNA-based therapies and stay informed on industry trends and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree in a scientific discipline (MD, PhD, PharmD preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or market access, with a strong focus on vaccines.
  • Demonstrated expertise in immunology, infectious diseases, or vaccine-related therapies.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with proven experience in engaging scientific communities.
  • Fluency in English and German; ability to travel up to 75% within the region.
