Qualifikationen

Position: Senior Compliance Officer

This role reports to the Head of Compliance and Internal Controls.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Manage compliance risks, especially related to ML/TF/PF, as well as operational risks like ICT security and outsourcing risks.
  2. Conduct data mining, execute and document processes, and maintain records; represent internally in compliance matters.
  3. Identify compliance risks through legal and regulatory analysis and operational process analysis for early risk detection.
  4. Maintain and reconcile legal/regulatory risk registers.
  5. Prepare risk ratings for inherent and residual risks.
  6. Advise on risk mitigation measures and support operational units in drafting policies.
  7. Develop multi-annual compliance monitoring plans.
  8. Coordinate internal risk controls, including audits and external risk control functions.
  9. Perform 2nd line controls to monitor mitigation measures, including on-site visits for BCP/DRP evaluations and AML DD.
  10. Assess internal AML reporting and notifications to authorities like CRF, CSSF, and MoF.
  11. Review AML-relevant client and counterparty communications.
  12. Report compliance status to the Head of Compliance and assist in reporting to the Board of Directors.
  13. Organize and prepare compliance training sessions, especially on risk awareness.
  14. Participate in internal compliance meetings and projects, including ICT implementation for compliance monitoring.
Your Profile
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Luxembourg, preferably in a Trust and Company Service Provider (PSF).
  • Deep understanding of client processes within a PSF, with experience in PE/VC industries and legal, tax, and business structures.
  • Experience as a Regulatory Compliance Officer in a larger compliance department is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent; certified knowledge in compliance topics, preferably through ALFI or similar programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg legislation, AML, and PE/VC regulations.
  • Proficient in English; additional languages, especially Eastern European, are a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL databases, and familiarity with AI tools.
  • Result-oriented, ownership-driven, and willing to travel within Luxembourg and abroad.
