Overview

MSA has an opportunity for a Project Engineer Public Works at our Bettendorf, IA office location. This opportunity is for a Professional Engineer (PE) with a passion for working with local clients on a wide variety of municipal engineering projects.

Responsibilities

The work you will do:

  • Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC.
  • Design and administration of construction on infrastructure projects.
  • Project experience in potable water, storm water and wastewater projects among more.
  • Assist with mentoring junior engineering staff.
  • Preparation of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents.
  • Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects.
Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related) required.
  • 4+ years of prior experience within the Public Works market serving multiple clients required.
  • PE license required, IA PE preferred.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and client needs required.
  • Extensive knowledge of regulations and requirements within Minnesota preferred.
  • Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities preferred.
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
