The Role

As the Associate Director of Paid Marketing for the DACH region, you will lead the development, execution, and optimization of paid advertising strategies to drive customer acquisition, brand visibility, and maximize ROI. This role is crucial in scaling our presence in the DACH market and achieving growth targets, requiring strategic thinking, analytical skills, and hands-on execution.

What you'll do

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement paid advertising strategies tailored to the DACH market, aligning with business goals.
2. Campaign Management: Oversee end-to-end campaign execution across channels like Affiliate, Influencer, Print, and Direct Sales, collaborating with central teams managing Paid Search, Paid Social, and Display.
3. Budget Management: Manage budgets exceeding 20M EUR annually, ensuring optimal spend and ROI.
4. Performance Analysis: Use analytics tools to track, report, and analyze campaign performance, deriving insights for future strategies.
5. Collaboration: Work with Creative, Analytics, Product Marketing, and Brand teams to ensure cohesive campaigns.
6. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor marketing professionals, fostering growth and continuous learning.
7. Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and implement innovative strategies.

What you'll bring

1. Experience: At least 6 years in performance marketing with a proven record in managing paid campaigns.
2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in platforms like Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
3. Analytical Mindset: Strong data interpretation skills to identify trends and make decisions.
4. Communication: Excellent German and English verbal and written skills.
5. Leadership: Experience leading teams of over 10 FTEs and managing cross-functional projects.
6. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related; Master’s preferred. Experience in fast-paced environments like startups or consulting.
