This role requires a Manager Grade and Above Technology Audit Lead with extensive leadership, management, team leading and stakeholder engagement to oversee the technology risk management strategy and operations.

As an experienced leader you will oversee high-impact IT audit programs, drive strategic initiatives, and inspire a talented team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead comprehensive audits of IT systems, cybersecurity controls, and data governance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Develop and execute strategic audit plans, aligning with organizational priorities and emerging technology trends.
• Lead audits of IT systems (e.g., cloud, cybersecurity, data governance) to assess risks and ensure compliance with standards like GDPR, ISO 27001, or COBIT.
• Mentor and guide a team of auditors, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to translate complex technical findings into actionable business insights.
• Innovate audit methodologies, leveraging data analytics and automation to enhance efficiency.
• Design & oversee dashboards (e.g., using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Splunk) to visualize audit findings, risk exposures, and compliance status for senior management. Ensure dashboards are actionable and user-friendly.

Requirements :

• Good experience in IT audit, with 3+ years in a leadership role, ideally in a technology-driven industry in financial or insurance services industries.
• Deep expertise in IT governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, paired with clear, concise communication.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC) are highly desirable.
• Fluency in English & German

Deep knowledge of IT audit frameworks (COBIT, ITIL), cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, NIST), and German regulations (GDPR / DSGVO). Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and emerging tech (AI, IoT) is a plus.
