We work with utilities, energy companies, large corporations, and investors to help them thrive in a changing energy landscape. Our PS team focuses on governments like the European Commission and the German government, executing impactful projects to promote a climate-neutral society. We base our advice on science, technology, and innovative approaches, striving to be at the forefront of climate and energy market developments. Our goal is to develop tailored solutions.

What You Will Do:

• Work on projects to accelerate the green energy transition nationally and globally, addressing investment frameworks, renewable energy integration, sector coupling, decarbonization, and hydrogen development.
• Support structured policy analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement for public institutions and industry clients at national, EU, and international levels.
• Build relationships within Guidehouse and with clients, upholding our values of respect, integrity, innovation, stewardship, and excellence, fostering an inclusive and diverse culture.

What You Will Need:

• Effective team-player willing to collaborate across diverse teams and levels.
• Passion for sustainability, innovation, and energy transition, with critical thinking, attention to detail, positivity, and creativity.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in virtual and in-person settings.
• Capability to manage multiple projects with clear understanding of objectives and client expectations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Master’s degree or similar in energy/environmental/electrical engineering, policy, economics, or social sciences with a focus on energy; 1-3 years of relevant experience in consultancy or the energy sector.
• Knowledge of energy technologies, market trends, and mechanisms is advantageous.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is essential for serving clients in Germany; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work internationally, including within the EU.
