Position: Senior Automotive OEM Manager

As a Senior Automotive OEM Manager, you will lead strategy and team building for new business development. Your role involves reframing client thinking and building consensus for Microchip’s solutions, co-creating value by enabling client innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize Microchip’s Client Engagement Process to drive design wins to revenue within the Automotive market.
  • Employ insight and consultative selling techniques to educate customers about their industry and relate their needs to Microchip’s solutions.
  • Manage and develop business relationships with assigned clients.
  • Identify key client stakeholders and coach them to build consensus for Microchip’s solutions.
  • Collaborate within a global team to develop and execute sales strategies across divisions and regions.
  • Provide feedback and ROI insights to Microchip’s product divisions.
  • Manage accounts entrepreneurially and be rewarded for organizational growth success.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering with a strong academic record.
  • 15+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in the automotive client sector.
  • Experience in calling on clients in the Automotive market.
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills to solve complex client challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor messages effectively.
  • Ability to influence and build networks with key stakeholders.
  • Proactive and independent, with a relentless drive to achieve results.
  • Effective workflow management skills, setting clear objectives and breaking them into achievable tasks.
