Job Description:

Development Engineer Vehicle Attachment Parts (m/f/d)

Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH in Kiel is seeking a Development Engineer for Vehicle Attachment Parts. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Development, design, and modification of kinematic and mechanical assemblies such as hatches, doors, roof superstructures, and protection components.
  2. Managing assemblies and subsystems from concept development and design to verification and series production readiness.
  3. Supporting production and managing changes.
  4. Creating fully verified, production-ready drawings of subsystems, assemblies, and parts.
  5. Providing technical support for external development services.
  6. Collaborating on work packages with team leaders.
  7. Participating in interdisciplinary project teams.
Qualifications:
  1. Completed studies in mechanical engineering, construction technology, or a comparable field.
  2. Several years of professional experience are advantageous.
  3. Knowledge of welding or bonding technology.
  4. Experience in managing external companies is a plus.
  5. Proficiency in CAD programs, e.g., Siemens NX.
  6. Excellent German and English language skills.
  7. Strong teamwork and independent working skills.
