Strategic Procurement MFT Leader (m/w/d) - Environmental Control Systems in Avionics and Mission Lead Function

You will be part of the Strategic Procurement Department, specifically within the "Avionics and Mission Systems" Procurement team.

Our Donauwörth site, situated on the banks of the Danube River, develops helicopters from concept to airworthy product, including on-site testing facilities.

Your responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities including sourcing, negotiations, contracts, and supplier monitoring in line with company requirements
• Negotiate and establish contracts with suppliers across Airbus Helicopters Group
• Lead multifunctional teams for your scope of equipment
• Support and coordinate with other buyers in Donauwörth and Marignane
• Develop and implement supplier strategies with your team
• Drive cost reduction initiatives
• Assist in sales campaigns with suppliers
• Report, develop, and monitor KPIs on schedule, results, and performance
• Define strategic plans per market and supplier, set priorities, and execute the strategic roadmap
• Manage strategic relationships with key suppliers, including contract frameworks and top management meetings

Qualifications and skills

• Degree in business administration, engineering, or similar
• Extensive experience in procurement, contracts, and project management
• Proficient in IT tools such as SAP and Excel
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills in an international setting
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• International experience and team collaboration skills
• Fluent in German and English; French knowledge is a plus
• Willingness to travel for business
