Position: Research Associate (PhD / PostDoc) for neuroscientific research in retinal ischaemia and stroke

Main Tasks: Join a motivated, interdisciplinary team studying mechanisms and treatments for ischemic retinal disease and stroke. The role at the Department of Neurology starts on 01.08.2024 for 3 years, with potential extension. Work involves cutting-edge translational research using multi-omics techniques on mouse models and human samples.

Your Profile:

  • Completed university degree (master's/diploma) or doctorate in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related fields
  • Experience with omics technologies and data analysis software
  • Interest in neurological research and molecular mechanisms
  • FELASA course completion is desirable
  • Proficient in English

Immunity Status: Employment requires proof of measles vaccination or immunity, verified by official documents before starting.
