What awaits you

• Coordination, control, and implementation of z/OS system programming tasks and support for BMC AMI OPs, as well as Control-M system operation.
• Administrative tasks in defined processes such as:

• z/OS: Good knowledge of the z/OS operating system, extensive experience in system operation and troubleshooting.
• BMC AMI Ops: Installation, administration, and operation of the BMC AMI Ops Suite and BMC Auto Operator.
• Automation and monitoring in parallel Sysplex.
• Monitoring, fault detection, and elimination in the infrastructure.
• Incident and problem management, service performance monitoring, and ongoing optimization.
• BMC Control-M: Installation, administration, system operation, and technical consulting for batch operation teams.
• Basic knowledge of installing and migrating to new z/OS releases, proactive maintenance, dump analysis if necessary.
• Communication Server: Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, VTAM, PAgent, including encrypted connections.
• DFSMS / DFSMShsm: Basic knowledge of SMS configuration and disk management.

Service design and build

• Support deployment and development of z/OS and BMC products, considering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Preparation and implementation of changes during operation.

Change, problem, and incident management

• Analysis, troubleshooting, and second-level support; escalation when necessary.
• Error systematization and initiating improvement processes.
• Root cause analysis and collaboration with internal and external specialists, IT performance management.

Consulting and project work

• Supporting IT development projects with consulting, conception, testing, and evaluation.
• Developing concepts and solutions for system modernization within LifeCycle Management.
• Active operation and development of IT infrastructure.

What you bring with you

• Completed university degree (diploma or master's) in IT, telecommunications, banking, or comparable qualification, with relevant professional experience.
• Fluent German (C1 level).
• Enjoy working in a team.
