Responsibilities:
  1. Direct sales developing new clients across a focus on companies headquartered in the Eastern USA in various industries.
  2. Prospecting and outbound outreach to develop a pipeline for new business development; requires daily determination, perseverance, confidence, and organization.
  3. Interface with prospects including CxO level, spanning emerging companies to global enterprises, developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships.
  4. Coordinate with leading insurance brokers and consultants specializing in property insurance.
  5. Employ active listening skills and innovative problem-solving to meet client and prospect objectives with property loss control services in a professional manner.
  6. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in negotiating sales terms and closing deals, always representing TÜV SÜD GRC principles.
  7. Communicate effectively with internal teams including sales, survey operations, order processing, retention, marketing, accounting, and consulting groups when necessary.
  8. Maintain continuous knowledge of all TÜV SÜD GRC offerings to present a comprehensive value proposition to prospects and clients.
Education and Experience:
  1. Superior professional selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of sales experience with success in high-volume new business sales within a solution/services environment, consistently meeting quotas.
  3. Experience related to property loss control products, services, or prior knowledge is a plus.
  4. Home office/workspace setup for uninterrupted daily calls and video interactions; virtual work options available based on proximity to TÜV SÜD GRC office.
  5. Strong organizational and time management skills to independently establish and meet goals and priorities.
  6. Experience with CRM systems and online meeting tools (e.g., Teams), with proficiency in Outlook and Excel.
  7. Ability to actively listen and independently address prospect/client questions, goals, and objectives to deliver superior service.
  8. Quick analytical listening skills to assess what drives client reliance on TÜV SÜD GRC’s resources.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  10. Team-oriented attitude, fostering goal-oriented collaboration within a sales team environment focused on individual and team achievements.
