We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to sell our sensors and support existing key Customers in the D.A.CH Region in the industrial automation and robotics industry. This position will be remote (Germany preferably).
RESPONSIBILITIES :
  1. Engage in a consultative, relationship-driven sales process with high-value customers across verticals, from lead identification to networking with decision-makers and influences, pitching Ouster’s technology credibly, evaluating/piloting, integrating, achieving design wins, and production.
  2. Serve as the primary relationship holder with key account decision-makers and influencers, working with product management, customer success, and field application engineering teams to manage existing customer relationships and ensure successful sensor deployments.
  3. Cross-sell within existing customer relationships, leveraging successes to find new opportunities within the same organization.
  4. Focus on key priority accounts, being accountable for aggressive sales goals to help grow the business rapidly.
  5. Identify new customer requirements and communicate them to product management and engineering teams.
  6. Be highly responsive to customer needs and work cross-functionally internally to satisfy and grow relationships.
  7. Leverage sales methodologies and tools to prospect and manage all stages of the sales cycle.
  8. Maintain internal reporting and forecasting for business operations and finance teams.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
  1. Track record of exceeding sales and/or business development goals.
  2. Success in hunter roles, finding and winning new business, managing sales from prospecting to close.
  3. 5+ years of technical sales experience, selling to C-level executives of enterprise accounts, including Fortune 500 companies.
  4. Curious, analytical, and able to understand customer perspectives and needs.
  5. Resourceful, creative, and results-oriented.
  6. Organized, diligent, and able to follow up regularly to maintain momentum.
  7. Polished, relatable, and able to manage conversations smoothly with diverse stakeholders.
  8. Self-aware, humble, and receptive to constructive feedback.
  9. Technically proficient, motivated to learn about company technology and products, and capable of describing technical concepts effectively.
  10. Trained in reputable sales methodologies.
  11. Skilled in CRM systems and prospecting tools like Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Groove.
  12. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an engineering field.
  13. Experience selling to automotive and industrial sectors is a plus.
  14. Experience in hardware or SaaS sales is a plus.
  15. Fluent in German and English.
  16. Position is remote, preferably based in Germany.
