Engineering Business Manager needed in Munich, Bayern, Germany

Skills Provision is searching for a Business Manager for an engineering company in Germany.

The Business Manager will be responsible for finance, accounting, administration, and human resources functions of this mid-sized engineering firm.

The Role
  1. Manage the company’s accounting and finance activities
  2. Review and approve accounts payable
  3. Collaborate with senior management to prepare budgets, income projections, and cash-flow summaries
  4. Track asset purchases and depreciation
  5. Review and approve timecards
  6. Oversee the invoice process through project managers
  7. Maintain a contract review and approval procedure
  8. Coordinate with the insurance broker on certificates of insurance
  9. Assist project managers in analyzing and controlling project cost data
  10. Maintain banking relationships and arrange short-term financing and lines of credit as needed
  11. Manage and approve bi-weekly payroll
  12. Monitor direct deposit and electronic tax services
  13. Supervise administrative support staff
  14. Track workers' compensation issues
  15. Ensure fair administration of salary and benefits programs
  16. Coordinate building requirements with property management
  17. Manage routine building support services
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  2. 7+ years of hands-on business accounting/management experience
  3. At least 3 years working within the AE industry using project accounting software
  4. Proactive team player with excellent supervisory skills
  5. Strong team-oriented attitude
  6. Excellent communication and supervisory skills
  7. Fluent in German and English (verbal and written)
  8. Ability to command respect naturally
