We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with a focus on power utilities to join our Siemens Grid Software Sales team based in Nuremberg, Germany.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Executing Sales Engineer activities towards power utilities, with a focus on power transmission and system operation companies.
  • Conducting local and international onsite visits, as well as remote presentations and demonstrations of Spectrum Power-based SCADA EMS solutions to prospects, customers, consultants, and stakeholders, including periodic booth activities during professional fairs or similar events.
  • Designing and implementing demo systems and technical solutions tailored to customer needs. Managing Spectrum Power-based SCADA EMS demo systems.
  • Enabling and supporting sales colleagues and partners.
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve our systems, processes, and offerings.

This is how you'll win us over:

  • Education: Master's degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience & Skills: More than 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering focusing on power utilities is mandatory.
  • More than 2 years of experience in Portfolio Sales with a focus on power utilities is mandatory.
  • Experience in Project Engineering, Project Management, or Product Development, especially with SCADA EMS and Spectrum Power suite, is advantageous.
  • Ability to present and demonstrate complex technical products and convince customers with technical expertise and strong sales skills.
  • Strong customer focus and a desire to be a trusted advisor, helping customers create value-driven solutions.
  • Analytical, problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making abilities and a growth mindset, combined with teamwork.
  • Language skills: Business proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
