Sales Manager (m/f/d) Animal Nutrition - DACH countries (South Germany, Switzerland, Austria)

Area of Focus: Sales, Customer Service & Origination

Your Challenge: ADM offers an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to lead our animal nutrition business in the DACH region. This key role aims to not only maintain but significantly grow our footprint by offering a diverse range of products from Feed Additives and ingredients to Premix. The position is based in Germany and reports to the Vice President Sales Europe in Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and expand our animal nutrition business in the DACH region.
  • Manage technical sales and key accounts.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities.
  • Understand our product portfolio thoroughly.
  • Create and implement sales plans and budgets based on market strategies.
  • Develop a 3-5 year Business Plan for the region.
  • Provide monthly sales reports, analytics, and insights; optimize go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with product management, application, and development teams to develop customer concepts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and consumer behaviors through publications, events, and reports.
  • Support innovative sales and marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate with technical support, customer service, logistics, product management, marketing, and controlling departments.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in Agriculture, Agro Engineering, Veterinary Science, or Business.
  • Knowledge of animal nutrition and technical applications.
  • At least 10 years of experience in B2B food, dairy, or ingredients sectors.
  • Strong organizational and autonomous working skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
  • Enthusiasm, initiative, and resilience under pressure.
  • Experience in a matrix, cross-cultural organization.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel within the region.
  • Fluent in English and German.
