Job Description

We are seeking a Development Engineer Digital Hardware (f/m/d) for our Digital and Mixed Signal Hardware Engineering department at the Ulm site, to join our team as soon as possible.

The team develops digital/mixed signal circuit boards for military and civilian applications in radar, electronic warfare, and avionics systems used in vehicles, aircraft, helicopters, and ships. Our portfolio includes signal conversion boards, FPGA boards, and processor boards.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Develop analog and digital assemblies in radar technology and avionics
  2. Support in defining requirements
  3. Create concepts and define key components
  4. Design circuits and circuit diagrams, and support layout design
  5. Commission modules and support integration and verification
  6. Manage assembly until series production readiness (if interested)
Your Profile
  • Completed studies in engineering, electrical engineering, communications engineering, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in this domain
  • Experience with CAE tools, preferably Mentor Xpedition (DxDesigner, CES, IO-Designer, xPCB Layout) or similar hardware tools
  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology
  • Knowledge of requirements engineering is advantageous
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools such as Mentor HyperLynx, ADS, Pspice, LTSpice, or similar is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of SAP is beneficial
  • Enjoy working in an open and communicative team environment
  • Proficiency in German and English
