Senior Service Transition Engineer Opportunity is an exciting fully remote role within a Managed IT Services and Technology Solutions company.

The Service Transition Engineer is responsible for ensuring a smooth transition from the project lifecycle to service delivery for a portfolio of customers. Working closely with Project Delivery and Managed Service teams, you will onboard customers and deliver against project milestones, quality standards, and customer satisfaction measures.

Responsibilities:
  1. Be accountable for the transition between Project Delivery and Service Operations for your assigned customers.
  2. Support the Project Manager by identifying and communicating risks related to customer onboarding and the transition of new IT services.
  3. Ensure technical quality assurance by completing validation testing procedures to high standards.
  4. Provide technical early life support, including on-site presence during system installation and clinical go-live phases.
  5. Ensure the Service and Maintenance teams have all necessary information to support the customer.
  6. Report on agreed Service Transition metrics against project progress and deliverables.
  7. Document all client systems and ensure they are ready for service transition.
  8. Experience working with a managed services provider.
  9. Excellent multilingual written and verbal communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to explain complex ideas effectively.
  10. Understanding of the ITIL framework and ability to apply its principles within an ITSM environment.
  11. Strong IT background including Windows Server, VMware, storage, networking, Windows AD, Citrix, and virtual desktop technologies.
  12. Experience with printers, group policies, troubleshooting VDA environments, virtualization, storage, compute (HCI), DNS, DHCP, VLANs.
