Position Overview:

We are looking for an accomplished procurement expert to drive our global category strategy. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and influence key purchasing decisions on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor the global category strategy.
• Provide guidance and support to Category Buyers to achieve defined goals.
• Set negotiation targets and lead global contract negotiations.
• Lead the category team functionally and strengthen the category network.
• Manage the procurement of packaging for automotive parts.

Candidate Requirements:

• Completed studies with a focus on business, industrial engineering, or chemistry.
• Proven experience in strategic procurement/category management in a regional or global context, or a similar role such as B2B Sales, ideally within the automotive industry.
