In the "Protection, Operation, and Control" (POC) group within Siemens PTI, we are currently looking for support. If you are passionate about contributing to the energy transition in Germany and worldwide and resonate with some of the following responsibilities, we encourage you to apply:

1. Performing power system studies (load flow, short circuit, dynamic behavior, stability)
2. Conducting protection coordination studies
3. Designing system protection schemes (WAMPAC)
4. Testing control and protection strategies in real-time laboratory (RTDS, SICAM)

Key Skills Required:

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on energy topics; a PhD can be advantageous
• 3-5 years of experience in the protection system domain (preferably in protection hardware in the loop testing)
• Out-of-the-box thinking
• Commitment to continuous development and learning
• Experience with power system simulation software such as DIGSI, PSS E, PSS SINCAL, Power Factory, PSCAD, RSCAD, or NEPLAN
• Strong team player with high intercultural sensitivity
• Fluency in German and/or English
