What you can expect

• As Head of Technology/Development, you are responsible for the technical implementation of the product strategy within the DKV LIVE Management Board together with the management.
• You take on the professional and disciplinary leadership of the various teams in the development context (IT & Development, IoT, Architecture, QA Management & UX Design).
• You are responsible for resource planning and the further development of the teams.
• You act as the interface between the DKV LIVE organization and the DKV parent company, focusing on technology topics to coordinate synergies and development initiatives together.

What makes you stand out

• You have completed IT education (HTL, FH, or university).
• You have several years of professional experience in the technical, disciplinary, and strategic management of a department for the development of a digital product.
• You have many years of experience in software development and detailed expertise in service architectures and technology stacks.
• You are familiar with programming languages and technologies such as GoLang, Typescript (React), Flutter, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MQTT, and micro- or macroservice architecture, and you can delve into them in detail if necessary.
• You are well-versed in agile development methods (Scrum) and optimizing development processes is a passion for you. You are characterized by pragmatic and well-founded decision-making skills.
• Ideally, you have knowledge of the mobility industry.
• You have excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
• You enjoy traveling and are willing to travel frequently, as the IT team is based in Innsbruck and therefore a presence in Austria of 60% is requested.
