Your Tasks

At Sono Motors, we are a motivated small team dedicated to bringing solar products to the market. As part of our Solar Integration Team developing products for transportation vehicle applications, you will be responsible for overall system development, including system definition, system integration, and E/E. Your role includes:

• System development of photovoltaic integrations in commercial vehicle applications, focusing on buses and trucks
• Conducting feasibility studies and developing concepts
• System testing and validation
• Requirement engineering and creating specifications
• Project management between internal teams and external suppliers
• Developing wiring diagrams and system topologies
• Performing D-FMEA for various projects

Our Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, or similar
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience as a development engineer for systems, preferably in automotive or commercial vehicles
• Broad technical expertise in system engineering or electrical engineering
• Basic knowledge of photovoltaic systems is advantageous
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to work on test benches or vehicles
• Commitment to sustainability in personal and professional life
• Fluent English; fluent German is a plus
