We are looking for you, located in Trier, Vienna, Bordeaux or 100% remote in Germany, Austria, France as a

Software Developer (m/f/d) Platform

Your tasks are:

• Design and implement state of the art application platform and tests for the ORBIS U framework
• Define setup and develop cloud-based software with focus on AWS
• Ensure installability, portability, scalability, and serviceability
• Deliver reusable application and platform components
• Define and design new products as well as incremental rework of current products
• Prepare and conduct user testing together with product managers
• Perform design reviews to evaluate and iterate the designs
• Work with both local and international product teams

You’ll bring in:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or information systems or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Strong knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, Java, Go, JavaEE, JBoss, Wildfly, Oracle, SQL
• Strong knowledge in testing methodologies and test automation
• Practical experience in development of enterprise applications with web technologies
• Experience in setting up CI environments and DevOps methodologies
• Knowledge in development of Web and Desktop Applications
• Strong oral and written English language skills
