Your Mission

As a central leadership figure (m/f/d) at the Mainz production site (160 HC), you will be responsible for the entire People & Culture agenda—from hiring to departure—and work directly with the managing director. You will coordinate closely with leaders to implement corporate culture initiatives, optimize employee processes, and reduce administrative tasks—while simplifying workflows and advancing digitalization.

With a balanced focus on tactical and strategic P&C topics, you will ensure a tangible impact and added value supporting the success of the local organization.

  • Recruiting & Talent Management: Attract top talent with appealing job ads, quick processes, and structured interviews.
  • Employee Support: Provide advice and support to leaders and employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Payroll & Administration: Oversee time tracking and payroll, working closely with our shared service center in Schongau.
  • Collaboration with Works Council: Conduct negotiations and develop works agreements in line with company goals.
  • Onboarding & Employer Branding: Guide new employees through their initial months and enhance employer branding through job fairs and partnerships with schools and universities.
  • Leadership Development & Succession Planning: Develop leaders, plan succession, and organize talent conferences to address future skill gaps.
  • Corporate Culture & Employee Engagement: Promote innovation, collaboration, and a culture of open feedback through initiatives and events.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Legal & Contract Knowledge: Solid understanding of German labor law and experience with industry-specific collective agreements.
  • Process Optimization & Digitalization: Use digital tools and smart processes to make workflows more efficient and employee-friendly.
  • People & Culture Expertise: Experience in talent management, compensation, benchmarking, organizational development, diversity, and leadership development.
  • Communication Skills: Confident in German and English, both written and spoken, across all hierarchy levels.
  • Coaching Experience: Beneficial for supporting leadership and employee development.
