Jobbeschreibung

As a Caf Staff / Barista at Impact Hub Berlin, you will be responsible for daily caf operations, including preparing drinks and food, and maintaining clean working and seating areas. We seek an independent individual to help shape our caf and atmosphere while supporting the team.

You will collaborate with our enthusiastic impact-driven Hospitality & Event Team (Coworking Team) to co-create the caf concept in close alignment with the entire Impact Hub Berlin team and our community.

As a Freelancer, you will have the flexibility to contribute your own ideas while collaborating on the caf's development and sustainable approach. The caf should embody our circular mission, focusing on sustainability from procurement to preparation, and promoting eco-friendly consumption and partnerships.

Your Responsibilities :

1. Open and close the caf independently, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
2. Advise customers, take orders, and prepare drinks and food.
3. Support daily lunch service and larger events.
4. Ensure cleanliness and organization.
5. Monitor stock and manage deliveries.

Your Qualifications and Skills

1. Strong interest in food and coffee, with genuine enthusiasm for coffee culture and sustainable handling of food.
2. Experience in hospitality and service industry, ideally as Caf Staff / Barista.
3. Excellent interpersonal communication skills to gauge customer preferences.
4. Ability to remain calm in busy and challenging environments.
5. The right to work as a freelancer in the EU and knowledge of self-employment regulations.
6. We welcome freelancers with higher experience levels, but what truly matters is a passion for hospitality and a love for food.
