We are looking for a Solutions Architect (ProServ) to join our world-class Customer Experience (CX) team. Solutions Architects at Grafana Labs provide customers with specialized business and technical consultation, guiding them to achieve their objectives using Grafana.

Our Solutions Architects need to be hands-on with technical expertise. They should understand the ecosystem of services our customers use and work closely with them to ensure success with Grafana. This includes understanding why Kubernetes is popular, how it relates to Prometheus, the difference between logs and metrics, and more.

The SA manages the onboarding and adoption lifecycle of Grafana products, delivering training, quick-starts, session cataloging, project and roadmap assurance, and specialized consulting for high-priority customers with complex needs. They support customers virtually or on-site, monitor ongoing support requests, and collaborate with product teams to suggest improvements.

Success in this role requires a love for hands-on work, command-line proficiency, customer engagement, project management, and technical delivery. Basic project management skills are also essential to monitor customer initiatives.

What you'll be doing:

1. Work effectively with customers, including executives, project managers, and IT staff.
2. Understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
3. Design solutions involving data visualization, workflows, migrations, and enterprise architecture.
4. Lead functional workshops, document requirements, and design solutions.
5. Operate with agility, accelerating solution delivery.
6. Adhere to standards and best practices.
7. Stay current with Grafana Labs and observability technologies.
8. Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, support, and professional services teams to foster innovation.
9. Enjoy working with leading-edge technologies and helping customers succeed.

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years of experience in deployment teams using project management techniques.
• Experience with observability (o11y).
• Best practices for deploying observability stacks, preferably with Grafana products.
• Successful track record in delivering enterprise customer projects.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn new skills and technologies.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency in *nix and Windows Server administration.
• Kubernetes experience (kubectl, Helm, Tanka).
