ABOUT THE TEAM

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• This is a senior role in our accounting organization, offering a unique opportunity to shape a small team into a best-in-class organization.
• You will shape our accounting policies (HGB, IFRS, RechKredV), ensure rigorous documentation, and promote their adoption.
• Represent Accounting when working with stakeholders to define standards and support new product development.
• Lead the development of our accounting standards, including local GAAPs and IFRS conversion, with high independence.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including year-end group audits.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, audit, or similar roles in top-tier firms.
• Strong technical knowledge of HGB and IFRS, including group reporting and consolidation experience.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or fintech sectors with relevant accounting complexities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex accounting topics clearly.
