Our team in Essen currently has an opening for a Head of Learning Academy Brenntag Essentials (m/f/d).

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the formulation of strategic curriculum goals and setting the overall learning direction for the functional skills needed in areas such as ‘LMSO GM’, ‘Supply Chain’. Drive the continuous development of learning products and services to achieve the desired skillset for employees in line with Brenntag Strategy.

Key activities & responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior management to develop and analyze emerging industry trends and related skillsets.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and partner to business leaders, providing advice on emerging academic and industry development, trends, and propositions.
  • Establish and maintain curriculum portfolio strategies for products, processes, and services.
  • Establish and maintain strong industry networks across clients, vendors, partners, and institutions.
  • Evaluate proposed improvement areas and innovation applications, alongside the evaluation of products and services based on business objectives and performance standards.

YOUR PROFILE

  • > 10 years of professional HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in a global (consulting) environment and excellent spoken & written English skills.
  • Up-to-date with latest pedagogy and adult learning.

Strategy: Academy strategy aligned with company strategy/BES strategy.

Functional skills: Curriculum Development, Abstraction skills, adult learning, portfolio management.

Area of expertise: Commercial/functional Skillsets.
